Story Craft for preschoolers: Tissue Fish
This eight week program is designed to introduce young children to crafts and is in addition to our regularly scheduled Story Time which offers songs, finger plays, rhymes and 3-4 new books and a short film for children ages newborn to five.

The Friday Family Film summer series begins at 3:30pm with “Flipper.” This classic 1963 film about a 12 year old boy and the dolphin he rescues and befriends is a fun adventure film for all ages and runs about 90 minutes long. Refreshments will be served.

Magician Jeff Brown returns to the Ketchikan Public Library with two shows. The first is at 11:00am and the second is at 2:00pm. Space is very limited for each show and tickets MUST be picked up in advance at the library for entry. Latecomers will not be seated. Call Charlotte for more information

The Friday Family Film summer series continues at 3:30pm with “Free Willy” This touching story about a troubled kid who finds an unlikely friend in a twelve ton Orca Whale is rated PG and runs 112 minutes long. Refreshments will be served.
